Finished the largest project for my business yet! Not going to lie was nervous and questioning myself when I accepted this one, but the best way to confidence is stepping out of your comfort zone and growing your skills. 3 walls, floor to ceiling bookcases, and TV stand with 6 total filing cabinets for storage of office paperwork. All made from red oak with a darker classic stain.

Another happy customer! Delivered this maple TV console the other day, and it turned out great! Complete with plenty of storage having a cabinet on the left, a drop-down shelf on the top right, and two drawers on the bottom right. If only 3 hours of sanding actually went this fast... still a long way to go on the sander.. shout out to @festool_usa though, for cutting my time on the sander down significantly with the Rotex 150.. 80 grid done on one side now to the next grit..

I've had this Hackberry wood slab for going on 4 years. Bought it with absolutely no intentions or plans for it. It's been sitting in my shop just waiting for the right project to come along, and now it's a beautiful coffee table! I am obsessed with the grain pattern of this wood.

First mantel ✅️

First ever mantel was a success! 8' long by 6" by 6" made from walnut turned out exactly how my customer imagined it would. I'll tell you what, drilling into a stone fireplace for the first time is not the faint of heart.. was so nervous but turned out great. On to the next one!

The first custom table in Colorado is finished and delivered!! I took on a new challenge and stepped out of my "comfort" zone with this expandable table.

This table is a 62" round that has two 12" leaves to expand to 86" when fully extended. Made from 100% White Oak and finished with Rubio Monocoat.

I couldn't be happier with how this table turned out! And let me tell you how terrifying it is to cut a several thousand dollar table top in half!! Expanding my skills and learning as I go is such a fun and rewarding process, and I can't wait to make more expandable tables.

A bittersweet life update for my followers:
We are moving to Colorado!

My wife and I have decided it's time to live near family, so we're sadly saying "see ya later" to this amazing place.

Somehow, building this L-shaped office desk for my wife for Christmas was easier than moving it into the office once completed. Needless to say, we were able to get it into place.. Made from Ash with one section measuring 80 inches long and the opposite section at 48 inches, which offers plenty of space to work and spread out!

This 72" round White Oak Dining Table is in its new home!! This sucker is not only one of the heaviest tables I've built but also the most complex. The base was a fun build to figure out with multiple prototypes using 2×4's to get the correct length and angles. I'm very pleased with how it turned out! What do you all think?

Delivered this beast of an end table to a previous client in Stanley this weekend. Matching the coffee table we made for them earlier this year, it has a similar 4 inch thick top with a "x" table base. Made from 100% White Oak, this end table is built to last!

News renovation complete! Or nearly complete.. There are still a few minor things to wrap up, but I wanted to share!!

Just finished this loft/library built in combo! This room when we purchased the house was your traditional empty 4 blank walls bonus room. With the vaulted ceiling my wife and I always wanted to do something with this space, it acted as a room for our dogs, a office/work out space for a while, and ultimately because a catch all for box's and just stuff..

After we had our son we (my wife) decided she wanted a loft and reading space, the loft for a space for our son to play, and a library to showcase her book collection capped off with a fireplace to read next too.

I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out!! We started the project in January, and I slowly worked on it within our budget doing small things here and there. Now that it's finally complete, I think I might start our master bathroom next... we shall see!

This BEAST of a coffee table with a solid 5 inch thick top turned out absolutely beautiful, in my humble opinion! Just about threw my back out moving it around the shop and loading it for delivery.

It's currently at its forever home in Stanley, ID. Don't know what I loved more, the table or the drive! Stanley is probably one of my most favorite places in all of Idaho... might be making the trip a couple more times to drop off more items, but I can tell you I won't be complaining about the drive.. 🏔🌲🏔

Do y'all have any idea how hard it is to take pictures that involve a mirror or glass doors!?! I'm trying to be a modern day Houdini so I wouldn't be seen!

However, I love this new whisky cabinet I made for myself. Made from Black Walnut and Zebrawood. This thing is a beast in the weight department, but the wood pairs well, and the mirrored back and glass door really cap off the elegant look I was going for.

Yet another round dining table completed and delivered!! This 60” White Oak Dining Table was a blast to build! And how about that 28” lazy susan!?! This client wanted a dining table based off the inspiration of her grandmother’s dining table and it was an amazing experience working with her and her family. Alot of people message me not knowing specifically what they want but it was a nice change where I was told everything they wanted from the first message. C-Channel backet install on this 60" round White Oak Dining Table top. For us woodworkers we care, or at least should care, what our products look like not only on day of delivery but in 10 or 15 years down the road. These c- channel brackets allow the wood to shrink and expand with the changing of the seasons as humidity levels change. With the seasonal changes the wood will move. These brackets allow that movement while keeping the table flat and also adds additional support to the overall table top.

First of all to all you Festool 'haters' and those saying, "I can do the same thing with my circular saw and a six foot level at a quarter of the price." Congrats, I'm happy that works for you! Keep scrolling.. and yes I know I need a dust extractor for my tools... that's on the list.

Me on the other hand, I absolutely LOVE this new saw. It's made getting these larger dining tables I'm working on so much easier to join together with literally zero gaps in my joints! It's not only resulting in a better overall product, BUT also saving me so much stress and time working on these larger projects.

This is my second Festool product that I have purchased for my business and after having the experience with this saw and my Festool sander I will 100% always recommend these tools to anyone in the market who is looking to upgrade their tools. Is it a hefty upfront price? Yes, it is. Is it worth that high price tag? 100% yes it is! In my opinion. I will for sure be adding more and more Festool products to my arsenal of tools in the shop.

I don’t know if it’s just me but on these hot summer days when I get home from work and have been outside the entire day all I want to do is sit on the couch soaking in the A/C.. some days it’s easy to get up and go out to the shop, some it’s not. And on the days it’s not I have a quote that is my motivation to get off my butt and get in the shop. Even when it’s 100+ degrees outside. (My shop is NOT climate controlled..) that quote is,

“Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs”

Although my woodworking is currently a part time job, I have the drive and ambition to make it my full time job someday. And thanks to many people that dream is slowly working towards a reality. I appreciate all those who have supported me and continue to do so! Thank you!
